Shakeel & Sons — Manufacturing
Manufacturing

From Raw Hide to Ready-to-Ship. Every Step, In-House.

Nothing at Shakeel & Sons is subcontracted out. Cutting, stitching, assembly, finishing, and packaging all happen under one roof at our Sialkot facility — built for consistency at export volume, not just sample-batch quality. Every stage is run by our own trained staff on our own machinery, so the standard that passes inspection on unit one is the same standard on unit four thousand.

This keeps lead times predictable and quality traceable end to end — no third-party workshops, no variable stitching quality between batches, and no surprises when your order finally lands at the port.

Our Manufacturing Process

Eight Stages. One Continuous Line.

Every order moves through the same disciplined sequence — no stage is skipped, and no stage is outsourced.

01

Material Selection

Full-grain, split, and chrome leathers are graded and matched to the product's application before cutting begins.

02

Cutting

Precision clicking presses and hand-cutting stations shape every panel to pattern, minimizing material waste.

03

Stitching

Flat-bed and post-bed industrial machines apply reinforced seams built to hold under repeated workplace stress.

04

Assembly

Cut and stitched components — cuffs, linings, palms, straps — are assembled into the finished product structure.

05

Finishing

Trimming, embossing, branding, and surface treatment give each piece its final retail-ready form.

06

Quality Inspection

Every batch is checked against ISO, CE, EN388, and ANSI compliance benchmarks before it's cleared to pack.

07

Packaging

Products are poly-bagged, carton-packed, and labeled — including private-label and OEM branding on request.

08

Export

Palletized cartons move through documentation and freight handling for dispatch to 60+ countries.

Production Machinery

Equipment Built for Repeatable Precision.

A production floor stocked with dedicated machinery for each stage, maintained on a fixed servicing schedule.

Clicking & Cutting Presses

Hydraulic clicking presses cut leather panels to precise die patterns, reducing offcut waste on every run.

Leather Splitting & Skiving Machines

Splitters bring hides to consistent thickness; skiving machines bevel edges for clean, low-bulk seams.

Industrial Sewing Lines

Flat-bed and post-bed stitching stations handle everything from fine assembly seams to heavy-duty rigger work.

Embossing & Branding Presses

Heat-stamp and emboss stations apply logos and private-label branding directly onto leather components.

EN388 Mechanical Test Rigs

In-house abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture testing rigs verify compliance before a batch is cleared for export.

Heat-Seal Packaging Lines

Automated poly-bagging and carton-sealing equipment prepares finished goods for palletized export shipment.

Production Capacity

4,000 units a day, without compromising the inspection line.

Our Workforce

250+ Skilled Hands Behind Every Order.

Our production floor is staffed directly — not subcontracted — with cutters, stitchers, and finishers trained specifically on leather safety gear. Long-tenured line workers mean fewer defects and a stitching standard that stays consistent from the first dozen to the ten-thousandth.

Dedicated shifts run across cutting, stitching, and finishing simultaneously, with inspection staff embedded at each stage rather than only at the end of the line.

Quality-Control Process

Checked at Every Stage, Not Just at the End.

Compliance isn't a final gate — it's built into the line itself.

01

Incoming Material Inspection

Leather and fabric are graded on arrival for thickness, tensile strength, and surface defects before cutting.

02

In-Line Stitching Checks

Line supervisors spot-check seam strength and stitch density throughout the stitching stage, not just after.

03

Pre-Pack Compliance Testing

Finished units are tested against ISO, CE, EN388, and ANSI benchmarks before they're cleared for packaging.

04

Final Random-Sample Audit

A random sample from every packed batch is pulled and re-inspected before the order is released for shipment.

05

Export Documentation Check

Certificates, packing lists, and compliance paperwork are verified against the shipment before dispatch.
